Petrochemical products

Oil represents mix about 1000 individual substances from which the most part — liquid hydrocarbons (> 500 substances or usually 80 — 90% on weight) and heteroatomic organic compounds (4 — 5%), mainly sulphurous (about 250 substances), nitrogenous (> 30 substances) and oxygen (about 85 substances), and also metalloorganic connections (generally vanadic and nickel); other components — the dissolved hydrocarbonic gases (C1-C4, from the tenth shares to 4%), water (from traces to 10%), mineral salts (mainly chlorides, 0,1 — 4000 mg/l and more), solutions of salts of organic acids, etc., mechanical impurity (a particle of clay, sand, limestone).
